WOW, New Years eve in Pokhara, Nepal! Woke up to a scheduled paragliding outing. Rode in jeep to the top of Sarenkote to take off. Oh my gosh, awesome experience. The city, Lake Phewa Tal, and then when we turned the fabulous Annapurnas mountains! We also went face to face with a vulture! A spectacular experience! Photos are coming, I promise!

We are here! Arrived in Kathmandu after rendezvous with Bill in Delhi. Great massage in Delhi airport. Views of the Annapurnas from the flight. Awesome. Meggie off on her own when we arrived. Says she only got lost in those crazy streets of Kathmandu about 5 times. We hooked up and toured Durbar Square and the old Royal Palace at Coronation Plaza where Meggie & I got kicked out for taking photos. Oops! The Kumari, living Goddess, looked out her little window but didn`t actually smile upon us like the one that has been sent to pasture did in 2008. Oh no, I hope Bill & I can keep our fantastic relationship going without that sacred smile upon us. We are now in Pokhara, Nepal`s second largest city on Lake Phewa Tal. Tomorrow we trek to Panchase to visit Bill`s women friends the DiDis. Definitely no wifi there. Back in a day or two.

DELHI

We have been gone for 26 hours now.  Denise and I are sitting in the cafe at Delhi airport waiting on our flight to Kathmandu. Denise is asking the  waiter which breakfast fits her ayurvedic dosha type.  He is looking at her like she is from Mars....in 5hrs we will be with Meggie (Denise's daughter) who arrived in Nepal last night.  We can't wait to see her and see how she likes this exotic land of the Himalayas.
