This great carnelian disc with turquoise tubes and faceted fresh water pearls on a sterling chain is a great accent piece.
This is green chalk turquoise from China. I love the intense color. I have added some beige fossil coral, mother of pearl, fresh water pearl and sterling silver findings.
Oh, I love this piece! Do I say that a lot? You know they are all my babies! The sterling shell is a creation from the Karen Hill Tribe women of Thailand and the stones are irregular coin pearls, purple jasper faceted chunks and pink oyster shell. The sterling connecting chain is hefty for the shell to hang nicely from.
This piece is a wonderful double strand with rectangular mother of pearl in a nice beige tone as the focus but also filled with beautiful accents of faceted orange carnelian, fresh water pearls and a collection of earth colored stones!
My new studio in Asheville,NorthCarolinais where I now create my Denuci jewelry. We are down along the French Broad River and the RR in an old tannery building. 190 artists are in the River Arts District and the vibes are great. Come by and see me on a Friday, 11-4 or give me a call and we can set a time convenient to you to meet at 357 Depot St.!
Denuci (de-nu-che) my Italian nickname for a Louisiana girl of French and Spanish heritage. That's me! I grew up loving rocks in a place where I saw oyster shells in driveways instead of gravel! I had to search for my rocks so they became treasures to me. My first encounter with creating jewelry was in college, but my studies were in Interior Design. The design concepts are similar but the stones in my hands exite and inspire me to create and I find creating Denuci jewelry both rewarding and challenging. I have been creating jewelry for over 12 years now with lots of satisfied customers. I use fresh water pearls, semi-precious stones and sterling silver with the occasional vermiel for gold tones. My supplies come from all over the world, some of which I have personally selected during my travels. My jewelry reflects my passion for travel, thoughtful design and of course good taste!
